Margastha Research Foundation invites applications for its 15-Day Botanical Research Internship Programme, designed to introduce participants to botanical research, biodiversity documentation and scientific publication.

🔬 Areas of Internship

• Plant identification and taxonomic documentation
• Medicinal plants and ethnobotanical studies
• Biodiversity surveys and conservation research
• Plant ecology and environmental studies
• Scientific literature review and referencing
• Research data compilation and analysis
• Research manuscript preparation

💰 Internship Fee: ₹2,000 for 15 days

🎓 What You Can Gain

• Guided exposure to botanical research methodologies
• Practical experience in scientific documentation and research writing
• Understanding of research paper preparation and publication processes

📚 Research Publication Opportunity

Eligible interns may have the opportunity to receive co-authorship on research papers submitted to suitable NAAS-rated journals, Scopus-indexed journals or other ISSN-bearing research journals, subject to actual scholarly contribution, manuscript quality and journal authorship criteria.

Publication and co-authorship are not guaranteed by payment of the internship fee. Journal selection, peer review, acceptance and publication timelines are independent of the internship programme.

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. Botany
• Plant Science and Life Sciences
• Zoology and Environmental Science
• Biological Sciences and related disciplines

📍 Internship Locations: Howrah, Kolkata, West Singhbhum and Noida, depending on project availability and arrangements.
